Providing Our Patients with the Tools and Knowledge to Collaborate with their Medical Care Provider

Millions of people, especially special populations like the elderly and those with special needs, face particular vulnerabilities, such as neglect, abuse, poverty, stigma, marginalization, and poor management of their disease. This can, ultimately, lead to the poor health and overall wellbeing of that population.

As a practicing Pharmacist with other healthcare professionals, Prim'n'Proper Consultant, LLC was created to improve these populations' health outcomes.  This has been of particular interest to owner and operator, Prima, and was the reason she took up a "Critical Challenge Project," working with faculties at  Brown University on how to "Improve Medication Adherence of Low Health Literate Cardiovascular Disease Patients." Around ninety million people in the US have less than adequate health literacy skills, and over seventy million suffer from Cardiovascular disease. It’s time to change that.
